Why do survey submissions require agency approval before going live

We deliberately do not make survey submissions immediately live and visible to clients in the clientarea for the following important reasons:

  1. Quality Control and Accuracy
Raw survey submissions may contain errors, incomplete information, or data that doesn't meet the expected standard. Releasing unreviewed data could compromise the perceived quality of the agency’s work and damage trust with the client.

  2. Safeguarding the Agency’s Reputation
Clients naturally associate all submitted data with the agency's brand. If inaccurate or inappropriate content is published without review, it can reflect poorly on the agency, even if the issue originated from a temporary staff member or an honest mistake.

  3. Sensitive or Confidential Information
Submissions may unintentionally include sensitive, personally identifiable, or commercially confidential information. Allowing unchecked data to go live poses legal and reputational risks to both the agency and the client.

  4. Protecting Against Fraudulent or Malicious Input
Without agency review, there’s a risk of fraudulent, manipulated, or even deliberately misleading submissions slipping through. A review step ensures integrity in the data provided.

  5. Contextual Judgment May Be Needed
Some submissions might raise flags that only the agency would recognise as problematic based on the campaign context, the client’s preferences, or contractual expectations. Automation lacks this nuance.

  6. Final Sign-Off Is a Professional Best Practice
Review and approval steps align with industry best practices for data governance and client service. It demonstrates a layer of accountability and professionalism, providing reassurance to clients that data is vetted and intentional.

Live data should reflect final, reviewed outcomes, not work in progress. Our agency’s review ensures quality, integrity, and protection for all parties involved.
